Design a Grocery Store
How about creating a grocery store that really works for you? It would have your favorite foods right where you can reach them!
It might be fun to do a grocery shopping field trip before starting this doable. That might help in the thinking about the layout of the store:
Are the aisles big enough for carts to pass each other?
Are cold things grouped together and fresh produce grouped together?
Is there a bakery?
Are the checkout counters located near doors?
In your store:
You don’t want shelves to be too high or people won’t be able to reach what they need on the top ones.
You’ll want to think about how people walk around the store, up and down aisles, and around their ends.
Is there a deli in your store? And a coffee counter?
Would you want to provide a place for people to sit and eat there, inside or outside the store?
Lots to think about.

Note: If this seems like too big a challenge, we also recommend creating a small corner market, a market stall, or a bakery instead of larger grocery stores. The most important thing is to have fun!
